I am so excited that you have visited my blog. I hope that this is the beginning of a wonderful summer relationship. I am embarking on a new chapter in my life. I am making a shift to Junior High School Reading (8th Grade). A sight I have not seen in almost 10 years. I am not sure what to think or expect, but the one thing I am sure of is that........
I want to be prepared to have rich discussions about literature. I am looking forward to being able to have fluid discussions and ask the right questions that will yield responses and reactions that are meaningful and can get to the heart of a story. I feel very behind on my reading in Young Adult Lit. Soooooooo, I decided to start a blog to.................
- Have colleagues hold me accountable for staying on track with my reading goals.
- To gain suggestions about great reads in the YA space.
- Have a chronicle of my exploits that I might be able to share with my students during the 16-17 school year.
- AND Possibly - Gain some partners on this journey!!!! I hope to get a lot of great responses and suggestions.
